Meet at Greet at MUW

My classes visited Mississippi University for Women Culinary Institute Meet and Greet April 25, 2008. The event was sponsored by the Culinary Club and one of my former students is the president of that club. Here is Jermarra and the dean, Dr. Fitzgerald.

Visiting prospective students were treated to a barbecue by members of the Culinary Club.
As you can see, my students thoroughly enjoyed their meal.

Students were taken on a tour of the historic MUW campus. Then the games began! Teams were given a cake pan full of flour and lifesavers and a toothpick they held in their mouth to extract the lifesavers (no hands.) Our team won!

Another game was to pass raw eggs with a spoon. Teams had to go over and under with the spoons while not dropping the egg. Our team won this competition too!

Thanks for a great day. I think several of my students are interested in enrolling at MUW Culinary Institute now. I wish them continued success.
