Poaching Pods
If you’re egg poaching challenged, these adorable little egg pods are just the thing!
I bought my mother and my aunt a set and took them up for Thanksgiving. “Oh, these won’t poach an egg,” they said. Well, I used my mother’s for breakfast and they worked beautifully. I simply rubbed a little oil (cooking spray would work nicely) on the inside, set the pods in a deep skillet with about 1 1/2 inches of simmering water, and cracked the eggs inside. About 6 minutes later, perfectly poached eggs!
These little silicone cuties come in a set of two and can be purchased here.
